Job summary

Qualis1 Inc. in Naperville, IL is seeking an experienced Test Lead to oversee testing across banking applications.

The role requires 10+ years experience, 3+ years as a Test Lead in banking projects, and hands-on use of HP ALM, JIRA, Confluence, and related tools. You will coordinate with dev, business and QA teams throughout the SDLC and drive defect resolution.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Test Lead in Banking/Financial projects.
• Peripheral Testing experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of IT QA, Functional Testing, SDLC, and testing methodologies.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of test metrics, automation frameworks, and industry testing standards.
• Hands-on experience with HP ALM / Quality Center, Confluence, and JIRA.
• Experience with Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Postman, SoapUI, or similar testing tools.
• Strong experience in system analysis, assessment, troubleshooting, and application testing.
• Experience compiling and interpreting testing and quality reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing activities across banking applications and projects.
• Define testing goals, metrics, and measurement plans aligned with business objectives.
• Plan and execute functional, system, regression, and peripheral testing.
• Coordinate with development, business, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and drive resolution.
• Prepare and interpret QA/testing reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to testing standards, methodologies, and quality processes.
