Job summary

Nokian Tyres is seeking a Quality Technician for our Dayton, TN manufacturing site to serve as the primary floor contact for quality. You will ensure conformance to procedures and customer expectations across compounds, components, and tires, while eliminating waste in the factory.

You will perform root-cause analyses, collaborate with engineers, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of related quality experience.
• Lean Principles experience preferred.
• Oracle experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality assurance floor contact.
• Ensure adherence to quality procedures and product conformance.
• Eliminate waste in mixing, components, and finishing areas.
• Diagnose root causes of waste and implement corrective actions.
• Compile reports for supervision and factory personnel.
• Create One Point Lessons with quality engineers for operators.
