Job summary

Advanex Americas is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician in White House, TN to perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of in-house parts to meet manufacturing requirements. The role supports 3rd shift 9pm–5:30am and 2nd shift 1pm–9:30pm, with full-time hours and hourly pay $19.00–$21.70.

Candidates should be precise, detail-oriented and able to read drawings and measuring tools, with basic math and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of quality experience in manufacturing.
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Able to read and interpret dimensional drawings.
• Able to read and follow written instructions.
• Team player with good communication.
• Basic math up to algebra.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and knowledge of PLEX ERP.
• Able to read and use basic measuring tools and instruments.
• Clear and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Use calipers, micrometers, gauging and other measuring tools.
• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspection of in-house parts.
• Document QA inspections at receiving, in-process, and testing stages.
• Audit manufacturing processes for compliance and proper segregation.
• Maintain and update inspection logs and records as needed.
• Initiate non-conformance reports (NCRs) and track disposition.
• Provide light clerical support (filing, photocopying, data entry).
• Other duties as assigned.

Advanex Americas’ Quality team is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Technician that will be responsible for performing detailed visual and dimensional inspections of in-house parts for conformance to manufacturing requirements. Candidates must demonstrate attention to detail, high integrity, self-motivation and a willingness to provide excellent quality of work.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to understand and use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauging, etc.
• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspection of supplier material and production parts.
• Documents QA inspection at receiving, in-process, and testing activities to assure conformance to specifications and procedural requirements.
• Audits various manufacturing processes to assure compliance and product segregation.
• Maintains and updates inspection logs and records as necessary.
• Initiates non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follows-up to final disposition of nonconforming materials.
• Responsible for complying with the department’s existing policies, procedures, methods, and techniques.
• Assists manager and/or department staff by providing light clerical support, such as filing, photocopying and data entry.
• Additional duties as assigned. JOB SKILLS:
