As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you’ll be part of our Manufacturing Team located in Stanfield, NC. You’ll get to: Duties include inspection to blueprints, written specifications or military specifications of a variety of production work on rivet bodies, mandrels, assembled rivets of ferrous and non-ferrous materials following standardized methods of repetitive sampling for dimensional and functional acceptance. Visually inspect and check a variety of parts using direct reading and adjustable gauges. Make out required inspection reports as required. Refers unacceptable conditions to operating personnel promptly. Testing instruments include micrometers, calipers, tensile tester, hardness tester, milligram weight scales, Keyence, and optical comparators. Perform all work related to the job. All work related to the job includes but is not limited to functional/dimensional testing as required, test equipment verifications, monthly Quality checks, tool inspection, hand sorting as required, break load testing as required, daily audits on the shop floor and shipping, re-stocking test washers at set test stations, identifying nonconforming product, and aiding in the investigation of problems found. Keep workplace clean and orderly. Must be able to work overtime if needed. Perform all other duties assigned.
