The ideal candidate has at least one year in food manufacturing and a commitment to workplace safety, with flexibility for shift preferences. You will help verify raw materials, perform line checks, and train staff on GMP and HACCP, all while maintaining quality and supporting a fast-paced

• Dynamic, organized and able to proactively improve overall QA program.
• Good interpersonal skills to motivate and train staff.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Good manual dexterity and strong work ethic.
• Experience in food production.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
• Some heavy lifting (boxes up to 25 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Verifying and approving raw materials and preparing customer samples.
• Performing routine line checks to ensure SOPs and CCPs are respected.
• Monitor and train team in GMP and HACCP protocols.
• Work in a fast, efficient and controlled manner.
• Collaborate effectively with team to complete tasks.
• Maintain a high standard of quality.
• Follow QA instructions concerning the packing of noodles.
• Monitor and verify cleaning and sanitation programs.
• Demonstrate proficiency with computers – MS Office, Internet.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Follow directions from Management.
• Occasionally work weekends to follow up behind sanitation

This position will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and work as a member of a dynamic team. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of at least one year in the food manufacturing sector and be committed to workplace safety. Additionally, the candidate for this position will be motivated to grow with Palmetto Gourmet Foods, building a career for years to come. Flexibility with scheduled workdays and shift preferences is required.
