Qualifications

  • English communication and basic math/record-keeping skills are required.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related science field is preferred; HS diploma acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Operate in work groups and monitor processes within an assigned area of responsibility.
  • Collect and analyze sample data to ensure product conformance and process control.
  • Monitor customer specifications for moisture, weight, color, and dimensions of products.
  • Monitor Preventative Controls and report non-conformance; assist with corrective actions.
  • Ensure sanitation requirements are met during production and provide guidance to staff.
  • Initiate food safety and quality hold procedures with proper documentation.
  • Conduct regular plant food safety and security audits and report non-conformance.
  • Act as auditor and verifier of daily quality tasks throughout the processing area.
  • Monitor production staff to ensure GMP compliance and report violations.
  • Participate in sensory panels.
  • Ensure health and safety of self and co-workers.

Overview

This client is a manufacturing partner for leading all-natural, organic, and gluten-free snack brands dedicated to producing sustainable, innovative, and healthy products.

In this role you’ll be working with the quality team to ensure food safety and compliance. This role will give you an opportunity to learn and grow while helping to ensure food quality for customers.

Schedule
  • Day Shift Mon-Fri 2:45pm-11pm.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • BS in related field preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in a Food Processing facility, in Quality or in a role closely related to Quality is OR bachelor’s degree in related science field preferred.
  • Ability to use and navigate Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of basic mathematical calculations, reading numbers and symbols, and record keeping
  • Ability to understand and communicate instructions in English.
