Overview:

Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, this position will oversee product fabrication in assigned areas within the plant. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to production processes and specifications, conducting risk assessments, evaluating finished product quality, and ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, USDA, and company food safety regulations. The successful candidate will implement approved standards and processes to minimize defects and ensure high-quality products.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing risk assessments, develop corrective actions, and monitor their implementation.
• Monitor sanitation standards before and during production to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Ensure production processes are followed throughout manufacturing.
• Create and analyze statistical data for quality attributes, identify process weaknesses, develop corrective actions, and oversee their implementation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One to three years of experience and specialized training in a food processing environment, with thorough knowledge of food microbiology and HACCP.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially technical communication.
• Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations related to formulations, ingredients, and yields.
• Ability to read and analyze process charts, graphs, and logs.
• HACCP certification is preferred.
• Understanding of statistical analysis is desirable.
