Job summary

National Carwash Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician in Grimes, IA to ensure product quality through in-process and finished-goods inspections and to support continuous improvement initiatives.

You will operate test equipment, audit production against engineering specifications, inspect incoming parts, address corrective actions, and help ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA and safety policies while maintaining detailed records.

As aQuality Assurance Technician,you are responsible for in-process and finished product inspections to ensure product quality is being maintained.

What You'll Do...

• Operates test equipment, including the test track, to determine if component parts and/or the finished product function within company quality standards
• May audit the work of production employees to ensure that they have followed engineering specifications
• Inspects incoming fabricated parts when required to assure they meet company requirements
• Receives information through the Corrective Action Request (CAR) process regarding customer complaints, conducts investigation, and completes report on cause/solution to the reported problem
• Inspects purchased parts to ensure conformity to company specifications
• Provides assistance to manufacturing personnel regarding quality problems. This may include working with Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, or other involved departments
• Inspects all finished equipment prior to shipment to ensure compliance to company specifications and procedures
• Maintains records related to all aspects of quality operations
• Must comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
• Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift light to medium weight up to 75 lbs.
• May stand for prolonged periods of time
• May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulations
