Job summary

Dole seeks a Quality Assurance Technician in Bessemer City, NC to support food quality processes and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

You will perform quality checks, maintain records, and assist with GMP and safety requirements; a high school diploma and prior food processing experience are required. Shifts may include weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED certificate.
• Previous experience in a food processing facility is required.
• Completion of the FSQA Technician competency exam or demonstrated external FSQA experience is required.
• Good oral communication skills are required.
• Hands-on ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented food processing environment is essential.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must also maintain regular and acceptable attendance, follow directions, interact well with coworkers, and understand and follow posted work rules and procedures.
• Flexibility is necessary to work any shift based on workload demands.

• Maintain reports and system log entries
• Complete food safety checks to meet all critical control points

• Receive and inspect raw (such as vegetables) to make sure they are aligned with the company policy and procedure.
• Support Master pack rework as needed
• Any and all other duties assigned by your supervisors
• Check, master pack check, and finished goods check

Pay Range: $18.40 + .45 Shift differential

What You’ll Do

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND LICENSES/CERTIFICATION
