Job summary

Pleasant View Dairy is seeking staff for our quality control and receiving teams. Inspect and test milk and dairy products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, document deviations, and report issues.

You will unload shipments, inspect containers, verify deliveries against purchase orders, maintain records, store and handle liquids safely, and perform light physical labor. We also maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow established safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy containers as required.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to document and report findings accurately.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices in a food production environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits and maintain quality control records.
• Receive and unload incoming shipments of milk and dairy products.
• Inspect containers for damage and verify that deliveries match purchase orders.
• Record and document received goods, including quantities and any discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of liquid containers to maintain product integrity.
• Perform physical labor related to moving and organizing products.
• Clean and wash containers, equipment, and work areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments as needed.

Requirements
