Abbott is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor I for our Vascular division in Westford, MA. You will lead a team of about 10 inspectors and technicians responsible for receiving, in-process, and final inspection activities.

You will oversee QA strategies, regulatory compliance, and audits, ensuring product quality and timely inspections, while collaborating with external vendors and other departments in a highly matrixed environment.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years quality supervisory experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Quality systems auditing experience desired.
• Experience in a matrixed cross-division environment is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development for a team of quality inspectors and technicians.
• Assigns work, monitors performance, and supports employee development.
• Ensures staffing and inspection coverage meet production requirements.
• Assures timely inspections that support materials, product releases and in-process inspections.
• Maintains staff and equipment to assure appropriate technical capabilities.
• Monitors inspection procedures for effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Communicates effectively with other departments and external partners as needed.
• Maintains a culture of continuous improvement in QA processes.
• Supports Company initiatives in QMS, EMS, and regulatory requirements.
• Complies with FDA regulations and other regulatory requirements.
