Job summary

AAON in Memphis, TN seeks a seasoned Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead a team of QA technicians in documenting, supporting, and maintaining AAON's quality standards at our Memphis facility.

You will collaborate with production, manufacturing engineers, and engineering to document processes, clarify responsibilities, identify improvements, and drive continuous quality improvements using CAPA findings, quality metrics, and lean methodologies.

Qualifications

• Requires BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years in the quality arena.
• Experience with ASQ, ISO, Lean, Statistical Process Control, and Continuous Improvement methodologies preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification desirable or willingness to pursue it.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAPA findings and quality metrics to initiate continuous improvement projects, assign tasks, and monitor progress.
• Provide final approval for quality team leaders who completed required training and report to HR and Production.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, timely product completion, and conformance to design specifications.
• Supervise inspection and testing personnel to maintain standards and productivity.
• Coordinate team schedules for audits and inspections, acting as a technical resource for trainers and production staff.
• Conduct meetings with internal and external suppliers and customers to review quality findings and travel as needed.
