Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead a 10+ inspector team onsite and manage the full inspection lifecycle from incoming components to final return-to-service.

The role requires an A&P license and 6+ years of QA inspection experience on aircraft, with strong FAA/AS9100 knowledge and the ability to coordinate with SAP/MES systems for non-conformities and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Aviation Management or equivalent experience; 6+ years Quality Inspection on aircraft components and systems.
  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 10 years combined experience as a quality inspector and/or certificated aviation maintenance technician (AMT).
  • Must possess a valid/current Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License to be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure inspection criteria and activities conform to approved data, maintenance manuals and regulatory requirements (FAA/OHSA/EPA)
  • Supervise inspection of a variety of articles, products, or materials manufactured onsite or received from suppliers
  • Manage final inspections to verify conformance to type design
  • Attend department and company meetings to address quality issues; report daily quality activities
  • Lead Auditor responsibilities on the Internal Audit Team.
