Job summary

Staffing-Agency-Recruitment seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist for a manufacturing company in Acton, MA. This direct hire role supports all aspects of quality and continuous improvement in a hands-on environment.

The position requires 3 years experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a junior level background in QA within consumer electronics or related manufacturing sectors. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Junior level position suitable for candidates with up to 5 years of experience.
• Experience in quality assurance within manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality inspection activities for mechanical and electro-mechanical products and components.
• Manage inbound and outbound RMAs, working with suppliers and customers to address quality issues.
• Investigate non-conformances and support corrective actions and root cause analysis.
• Work with suppliers to resolve incoming material and component quality issues.
• Coordinate and maintain equipment calibration schedules, records, and documentation.
• Review drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements using GD&T.
• Maintain quality documentation, procedures, records, and other quality-related information.
• Collect and organize quality data and create reports, charts, and metrics using Excel.
• Assist with ongoing development and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and day-to-day quality needs across the organization.
• Collaborate with Operations and other departments to resolve product and process quality issues.
