Job summary

Camelot Community Care in Florida is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure services to children and families meet regulatory and contractual requirements. You will maintain documentation, monitor outcomes, and lead reporting efforts to funders, while partnering with leadership and staff.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a human service field, Case Management Certification, and at least two years of case management experience within the dependency system; leadership experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human service field, Case Management Certification, and at least 2 years of Case Management experience in the Dependency System.
  • Leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and implementation of electronic and physical filing procedures.
  • Monitor staff documentation compliance and provide training as needed.
  • Conduct ongoing file reviews and report to program leadership.
  • Develop corrective measures when deficiencies are identified in documentation.
  • Monitor and report contractual outcomes and implement corrective actions.
  • Track case plan goals for families and report unmet tasks to leadership.
  • Track and report data requirements for funders and regulators.
  • Review new cases for compliance and task appropriateness.
  • Review cases set for closure and permanency options for appropriateness.
  • Participate in required staffings and meetings.
  • Manage flex or child-specific funding and spend reporting.
  • Prepare case files for internal and external monitoring and ensure compliance.

This position is also responsible for the maintenance, reporting and accuracy of documentation and data collection for the program. The Quality Assurance Specialist also takes part in or leads the effort in outcome reporting and the development of procedures to ensure the implementation of contractual requirements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may beassigned. Specific regional requirements may be detailed as an attachment to the job description.1. Oversight and implementation of electronic and physical filing procedures.2. Monitor staff compliance with documentation requirements and when necessary, provide trainingto staff to assure staff are completing required documentation timely and accurately.3. Conduct on-going file reviews and provide reports to program leadership. Develop andimplement corrective measures when deficiencies are identified in documentation.4. Monitor and report program compliance with contractual outcomes. Develop and implementcorrective measures when outcome performance is not meeting contractual requirements.5. Monitor implementation of case plan goals for families including referrals, case managementtasks, and other items identified on service plans. Provide reports to staff and program leadershipidentifying unmet tasks and monitor for follow up.6. Track and produce all data requirements and reporting for funders and other regulatory bodies.Specific reporting and data requirements are detailed as an attachment to this job description.7. Review all new cases for compliance, required and needed tasks, and appropriateness of staffassignment.8. Review all cases set for closure, reunification, adoption and other permanency options todetermine appropriateness of permanency option.9. Participate in all required staffings and meetings for the program.10. Implement an effective system for utilization of flex or child specific funding. Track and reportspending and balances.11. Prepare case files for internal and external monitoring and establish procedures to assurecompliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.Bachelor’s degree in a human service field, Case Management Certification, and at least 2 years of Case Management experience working in the Dependency System.
