System One, Inc. in Ontario, CA is seeking a Compliance & Regulatory Specialist for the Consumer Packaged Goods sector. This onsite, direct-hire role focuses on regulatory compliance and quality assurance across product lines.

You will ensure FDA and GMP compliance, coordinate testing programs, support registrations, qualify suppliers, and oversee CAPA efforts while collaborating with Product Development, Operations and Purchasing.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in QA, regulatory affairs, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years in QA or regulatory compliance.
• Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) desired.
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and GMP.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, labeling standards and retailer guidelines.
• Coordinate third-party lab testing programs and review results.
• Support FDA registrations, regulatory submissions and docs.
• Qualify suppliers and oversee GMP and social compliance audits.
• Manage CAPA programs and quality deviations.
• Lead quality and compliance activities for new product launches.
• Review ingredients, labels, packaging and claims for compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement process updates.
• Serve as primary regulatory contact for retail customers.
• Maintain private-label, retailer and regulatory documentation.
• Partner with Product Development, Operations, Purchasing, Sales, and Suppliers.

Job Title: Compliance & Regulatory Specialist, Consumer Packaged Goods

Compensation: $70,000

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GMP requirements, labeling standards, and retailer compliance guidelines
• Coordinate third-party laboratory testing programs and review test results
• Support FDA registrations, regulatory submissions, and compliance documentation
• Qualify suppliers and oversee GMP and social compliance audits
• Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs and quality deviations
• Lead quality and compliance activities associated with new product launches
• Review product ingredients, labels, packaging, and claims for regulatory compliance
• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary process updates
• Serve as the primary quality and regulatory contact for retail customers
• Maintain private-label, retailer, and regulatory documentation
• Partner cross-functionally with Product Development, Operations, Purchasing, Sales, and Suppliers
• Provide project status updates and proactively mitigate compliance risks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Regulatory Compliance
• Strong experience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
• Strong understanding of FDA regulations, GMP requirements, and compliance programs
• Excellent root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
