Job summary

Life-Assist, Inc. is expanding its warehouse team in Lenexa, KS, seeking a detail-oriented warehouse associate to ensure accurate receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.

You will work with RF scanners, process shipments, manage returns, and support packaging standards to protect products in transit. This role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• AA in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Five years’ related experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime during peak volume days.

Responsibilities

• File freight claims with carriers and document discrepancies.
• Record serial, lot, and expiration information accurately.
• Manage inventory and support ERP/WMS tasks.
• Process and ship returns to vendors and customers.
• Receive inventory using RF scanners and scan products to shelves.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Operate warehouse tools such as pallet jacks and tape guns.
• Audit outbound packages and ensure proper packing for transit.

What You Will Do

• Works with carriers to file freight claims
• Ensures quality, accuracy, and authenticity of product as necessary
• Records accurate serial, lot, and expiration information on applicable products
• Works with applicable departments to document and solve discrepancies on inbound product
• Assists in managing salable and non-salable inventory
• Processes and ships returns to vendors
• Uses RF Scanner to receive inventory, process returns, scan products to/from shelves, and process shipments as necessary
• Receives and processes customer returns
• Conducts random audits of outbound packages with an emphasis on adequate packing to protect products during transit
• Operates carts, pallet jacks, tape guns, box openers, and other warehouse tools as necessary
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned

Inventory Management

• Profiles and maintains product description and storage handling requirements
• Maintains adherence to regulatory requirements and enforces procedures to ensure accuracy
• Maintains expiration dates and ensures proper stock rotation
• Audits the inventory on a regular basis and reports to management
• Documents and resolves inventory discrepancies
• Can regularly and competently perform all necessary tasks in the Warehouse Management System and ERP
• Quarantine defective, recalled, or expired product.

Education and Experience:

• AA in Business Administration and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Five years’ related experience and/or training preferred
• California Designated Representative a plus
• Forklift Experience a plus
• Medium proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work overtime during peak volume days
