Alpek Polyester USA, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Operator for the Pearl River site in Bay St Louis, MS. The role focuses on quality lab testing for Monomers, Resins, and rPET, with a safety mindset and ownership of results.

You will perform routine QC/QA testing, ensure proper operation of lab equipment, maintain a clean workspace, and clearly communicate findings to the Lab Supervisor and team.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Good interpersonal, listening and safety practices.
• Good math skills.
• Able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.
• Laboratory experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or laboratory experience required.
• Must serve on the plant emergency response team (ERT).

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our PR - Pearl River site's Quality Assurance team based in Bay St Louis, MS. The ideal candidate for the Quality Assurance Operator possesses a safety mindset and applies a high degree of self-driven ownership and accountability while performing quality lab testing for their site's product materials.

Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Operator will be reportable to the Lab Supervisor and have responsibilities for the following tasks:

• Adhering to all applicable laboratory safety and documentation guidelines.
• Performing routine analytical quality testing in QC/QA lab for their site's product materials (Monomers/ Resins/ rPET).
• Ensuring proper operation of lab equipment through routine standard checks and maintenance.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly laboratory working environment.
• Effectively communicating with staff and ensure that lab results are delivered in a clear and timely manner. Preferred knowledge in the following analytical instruments and techniques: AA, GC, LC, FTIR, titration, X-ray fluorescence and gravimetric analysis.
