Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; in food or science field ideal.
• 5+ years direct reports with supervisory experience.
• Certified SQF Practitioner; HACCP-based training.
• Knowledge of SQF Code and supplier certification requirements.
• Poultry and meat handling background.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and ethical compliance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement facility training to ensure competency in product safety and legality.
• Oversee customer service activities and interface with sales, production, and QA teams.
• Maintain SQF and HACCP programs; conduct audits and drive compliance.
• Develop, review, and approve packaging specifications and BOMs.
• Schedule and run Food Safety and HACCP meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Lead corrective actions and preventive measures for non-conformances.
• Supervise QA team members and coordinate pest control and sanitation plans.
