Responsibilities
- Responsible for both strategic planning and day-to-day management of a complex and broad range of projects conducted with collaborators internal and external to Penn.
- Under the mentoring of the Principal Investigator, take a leadership role in developing study protocols, writing grants, managing project operations, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
- Develop the team’s research strategy and lead projects and co-author papers as opportunities arise.
- Ensure studies are conducted safely and according to protocol; supervise educators and teams conducting studies/interventions; collaborate with peers from other universities and funding agencies.
- Coordinate grant applications and interact with funding administrators and the University Business Office.
- Contribute to presentations and manuscripts, including multiple drafts for review and dissemination; participate in other dissemination activities related to project findings.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- This position is contingent upon grant funding.
- Working conditions: Office, library, computer room.
- Physical effort: Typically sitting at a desk or table; occasional lifting 25 lb. or less; typically standing or walking.
