Job summary

CAMP Systems International, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to lead and enhance our Quality Management System for aviation compliance and software delivery quality.

You will oversee audits, drive continuous improvement, and mentor a high-performing QA team across our SaaS platforms. The role requires deep aviation QA expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to partner with operations, product, and engineering to embed QA throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quality management, aerospace engineering, computer science, or related field; masters preferred.
• 7+ years in a QA management role within aviation, aerospace, or aviation SaaS.
• Certifications such as CQM or CQA highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 and aviation regulatory requirements.
• Experience with QMS software platforms and BI/analytic tools (Power BI).
• Exceptional leadership and ability to grow QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA team to achieve quality objectives and ensure delivery of high-quality products and services.
• Develop and maintain the QMS in compliance with aviation standards (ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Oversee internal and external audits to meet quality requirements.
• Drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and SLAs for quality escapes.
• Implement continuous improvement using data-driven analysis and best practices.
• Mentor QA team members and foster professional growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate QA across the organization.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling and BI dashboards to surface trends and KPIs for leadership.
• Report to senior leadership with regular QMS performance updates.

What You Will Experience in This Role:

CAMP is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager who is excited to join a role that balances aviation industry compliance, analyst service, and software delivery quality. The QA Manager will lead and continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS), ensure compliance with aviation industry standards, and drive software release quality across CAMP's SaaS platforms. The successful candidate will combine a deep background in aviation quality assurance with the analytical and technical fluency required in a modern, data-driven software organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the QA team to achieve quality objectives and ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to our clients across both aviation compliance and software platforms.
• Develop and maintain the QMS in compliance with aviation industry standards, including ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring that all procedures and services meet stringent quality requirements.
• Drive quality escape resolution forward including root cause analysis, corrective action, and follow-up in accordance with corresponding SLAs.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on data-driven analysis, root cause investigation, and industry best practices.
• Manage and mentor QA team members, fostering an environment of continual professional growth and expertise in quality assurance.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, product, engineering, customer support, and other departments to integrate quality assurance methodologies throughout the organization.
• Leverage AI-assisted quality tooling and BI dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to surface trends, monitor KPIs, and present data-driven insights to senior leadership.
• Report directly to senior leadership with regular updates on QMS performance, audit outcomes, and quality metrics.

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in quality management, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Masters preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in a QA management role, specifically within the aviation, aerospace, or aviation SaaS sector.
• Certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of aviation industry regulatory requirements and quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Experience with QMS software platforms and quality tracking tools; proficiency with BI/analytics tools such as Power BI.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a record of developing effective QA teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and implement strategic quality plans spanning compliance and software delivery contexts.
• Superb communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
