Job summary

Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in Reading, PA to lead quality initiative strategies, oversee audits, and ensure licensing compliance across program operations. Training and oversight will empower staff and improve service delivery.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with paid training provided and opportunities for professional development within a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma and 6 years of experience working directly with individuals with IDD or autism, or
  • Associate’s Degree and 4 years of experience working directly with individuals with IDD or autism, or
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Field and 2 years of experience working directly with individuals with IDD or autism

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and oversight of quality initiative strategies throughout program operations and all areas of the organization to improve quality of service delivery while maximizing upon limited resources.
  • Maintain any required Quality Assurance/ Quality Management certifications.
  • Oversee quality management activities such as IM4Q, Provider Monitoring, and various audits, in addition to completion of any corresponding required activities.
  • Assist in the development of any Quality Assurance work plan(s).
  • Monitor, track, complete reports, and attend internal meetings as required.
  • Respond to questions/provide additional information as requested by administrative entities.
  • Review anyWaiver monitoring forms and meetings to ensure any needed follow-up action is completed.
  • Conduct random quality oversights on at least a monthly basis and as requested.
  • Oversee completion of ODP self-assessment twice annually.
  • Provide training and guidance to the Program Specialist positions in regards to licensing regulatory compliance.
  • Review paperwork such as ISP, SNAP and BSP and/or RPPs for accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain all required licensing files throughout the year for each resident in preparation for annual licensing and follow up with Program team for needed items.
  • Facilitate preparation for any licensing and/or quality reviews as needed for any outside entity.
  • Facilitate on-site inspection with the licensors in conjunction with the Sr. Regional/ Regional Directors.
  • Review all noted events to determine if they are reportable and consult investigation team when necessary.
  • Enter incidents as required into EIM, complete final report within timeframes established.
  • Participate as a Peer Reviewer for the investigation process as needed.
  • Ensure completion of Investigation Panel Recommendations.
  • Promote Residents, Staff, and the Agency in a positive manner to neighbors, doctors, families, and the public at large.

What You’ll Do
