Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC seeks a QA Leader to drive quality on the plant floor and sustain the Quality Assurance systems. You will coach QA staff, lead internal audits, and partner with production to meet GFSI and customer requirements.

You will manage risk assessments, drive RCA-CAPA actions, and support continuous improvement across packaging and manufacturing processes. The role requires effective communication, accountability, and ability to work with minimal supervision on an onsite shift.

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year science degree required.
• Experience leading QA in a high-speed food manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office; HACCP/PCQI knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead GFSI initiatives and back up the QA Manager for Food Safety & Quality.
• Oversee audits with suppliers, agencies and auditors on site.
• Perform risk assessments for new materials entering the facility.
• Execute RCA-CAPA actions per policies and track results.
• Investigate consumer complaints and monitor corrective actions.
