Job summary

Acutis Diagnostics Inc seeks a motivated Quality Assurance Intern to support our QA team with quality system review, data analysis, and process improvement within our clinical laboratory environment.

This hands-on role offers exposure to CLIA, CAP, and NYS CLEP compliance, and experience with real-world quality data and Intellect modules. You will gain practical QA experience and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Basic data analysis skills; Excel preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support QA oversight of the Intellect quality management system.
• Review system usage, SOPs, and training materials to identify workflow gaps and risks.
• Analyze quality data: nonconformance trends and closure timelines.
• Analyze training records: competency and completion data.
• Analyze calibration and maintenance activities.
• Identify trends, gaps, outliers, and compliance risks.
• Develop simple charts, tables, and summaries of findings.
• Assist with End User Guidelines for key Intellect modules.
• Support reviews against CLIA, CAP, and NYS CLEP requirements.

We are seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Intern to support our QA team with quality system review, data analysis, and process improvement. This role provides hands-on experience with healthcare quality systems and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support QA oversight of the Intellect quality management system.
• Review system usage, SOPs, and training materials to identify workflow gaps and risks.
• Analyze quality data, including:
  • Nonconformance trends and closure timelines
  • Training completion and competency records
  • Calibration and maintenance activities
• Identify trends, gaps, outliers, and compliance risks.
• Develop simple charts, tables, and summaries of findings.
• Assist with End User Guidelines for key Intellect modules.
• Support reviews against CLIA, CAP, and NYS CLEP requirements.
