Frey Consulting Group is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Elizabeth, NJ to check materials, products, and production work against company standards. This hands-on role combines inspection, basic testing, documentation, and teamwork.

Training will be provided to help the right candidate become confident in the role. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and offer training and support to build skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prev QC/manufacturing/inspection experience welcome but not required.
• Willingness to learn company procedures and quality standards.
• Comfortable using basic tools and a computer.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work well with others.
• Overtime or shift differential opportunities where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials, products, and completed work for quality and consistency.
• Perform basic inspections, measurements, and quality tests using available tools and equipment.
• Compare products with guidelines, samples, specifications, or instructions.
• Record inspection results, measurements, and any issues found.
• Report quality concerns and work with team to resolve them.
• Recheck products after corrections to ensure requirements are met.
• Keep inspection records and quality documents organized.
• Use a computer for data entry, reports, email, and quality records.
• Keep inspection tools clean and report equipment problems.
