Job summary

Mettler Toledo is seeking a Level II Quality Associate in Oakland, CA to perform routine inspections per drawings and procedures, using precise measurement tools and SAP for quality notifications. The role emphasizes independent judgment, safety, and cross-training across areas to mitigate quality risks.

You should have at least 3 years in inspection roles, strong English communication, and the ability to work with both purchased and produced materials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in inspection roles.
• Visual and dimensional inspection skills with precision measuring tools.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and measure working to drawings and procedures.
• Focus on either purchased or produced materials; cross-training possible.
• Fully competent in basic inspections and tests performed by Level I.
• Audit production work-in-process material and notify leadership of problems.
• Monitor high risk production activities to ensure new quality instructions are followed.
• Work safely and communicate safety risks.
• Enter Quality Notifications in SAP and notify required actions.
• Assist and train other inspectors on basic inspections and confirm results.
• Audit production activities to confirm conformance to procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
