Zusammenfassung

MAC LTT in Kent, OH is seeking a Quality Inspector to support the in-process and finished product inspection processes. You will follow QA guidance, perform tests such as axle alignment and safety checks, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate for records.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read specifications, and experience with hand tools and tractor-trailer components. This is a full-time, on-site position in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to read, understand, comprehend, specification documents and/or related drawings.
• Ability to efficiently operate hand tools and at times hand power tools.
• Experience in tractor trailer building or inspection knowledge is preferred.
• Proven quality related employment experience is preferred.
• Proven mechanical experience is preferred.
• Understanding or experience in welding is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Adhere to guidance and instruction from Quality Assurance Manager.
• Perform a wide variety of specific test or verification procedures including but not limited to axle alignment, air and electrical testing, ABS, tires, wheels, gates, etc.
• Organize documentation to utilize in inspection process assuring documentation is complete, neat, legible, and accurate for record keeping.
• Review documentation related to product being inspected and ensure it is as designated in specifications.
• Document all pass/fail information during the inspection process as required and instructed.
• Communicate with inspection Quality Assurance Manager regarding needs or deficiencies in build of product.
• Operate and utilize camera to record inspection and enter/transfer photographs as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, product, and work area.
• Maintain organized stock levels of inspection related parts and materials.
• Assist team members and perform functions alone as needed.
• Perform and abide by all safety policies, procedures, and practices.
• Any other related duties as assigned.
