Job summary

The VELUX Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for on-site work at 85 Spencer Drive Unit A, Wells, ME. The role focuses on measuring incoming components and finished products per the quality control plan, documenting issues, and driving corrective actions within a team environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma and at least 2 years in a Quality System, with reading blueprints and using measuring instruments preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a Quality System.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
• Good time management and prioritization abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections and tests in the Product Quality Activity/Control Plans and input quality data into a computer database.
• Identify problems or situations related to quality or production and inform Production and Quality Management.
• Assist with the implementation of a Quality System based on ISO 9001:2015.
• Organize information for written and/or oral presentations for team meetings.
• Work on special projects as needed with minimum supervision.
• Assist with quality training and development of production employees.
• Assist with audits for process and product quality.
