Qualifications

• Prior experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience in precision machining or mechanical inspection is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints along with GD&T.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certified standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections at multiple stages including incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) prior to production runs.
• Confirm parts and materials meet customer specifications and order requirements.
• Operate various inspection equipment including CMM, OGP systems, and other gauges and fixtures.
• Review and understand blueprints, work orders, and GD&T specifications.
• Document and input inspection data into the MES system.
• Verify all required paperwork and certifications are complete before products are released for shipment.
• Assist with upkeep and calibration of inspection tools and equipment.
• Report any quality concerns or discrepancies to the appropriate team members.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

IQ Resource Group is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector in the Elk River, MN area!

Pay: $23.00 – $27.00/hour (based on experience)

Shift Options:

• 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00pm–2:30am
• Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00am–6:30pm
