Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated entry-level Quality Assurance Inspector for the 2nd shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves inspecting parts, taking precise measurements, and performing AQL tests to ensure product quality. Training on first shift will be provided for 2-3 weeks.

The position is a long-term contract with potential for permanent placement. Pay is $22.50 per hour, with a 2nd shift schedule from 3:45pm to 2:30am, Monday to Thursday, with overtime

Qualifications

• Entry-level QA role in manufacturing; prior QA experience preferred but not required.
• Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers and rulers.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills required.
• Ability to work independently and with teammates.
• Safety shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting up to 200 parts per day.
• Using calipers and rulers to take visual measurements.
• Performing AQL testing on product batches.
• Conducting pressure checks and failure testing.

Do you have what it takes to maintain quality in a high-energy environment? We’re looking for a dedicated entry-level Quality Assurance Inspector to join our 2nd shift team! We’re seeking a detail-oriented individual who is ready to make a real impact. This is a long-term contract role with the potential for permanent.

Pay: $22.50/hour

Work schedule: 2nd shift: 3:45pm – 2:30am Monday -Thursday

• Will work overtime! Possible OT on Fridays from 1:30pm-10pm
• Will train on 1st shift 5:30 AM – 4 PM, Monday- Thursday for 2-3 weeks

Your duties will include:

• Inspecting up to 200 parts per day
• Using calipers and rulers to take visual measurements
• Acceptable quality limit (AQL) testing on batches of products
• Pressure checks and failure testing
• Data entry of measurements into Excel
• Working within a busy manufacturing environment

Qualifications:

• Previous quality assurance experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Experience using quality hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers
• Interest in learning new skills and growing with the company
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently, while also working well with teammates
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent attendance record and punctuality
