KBR, part of the spin-off project to Trinzic, is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to verify aerospace parts and documentation. You will inspect, document nonconformances, and ensure proper disposition of quality issues in a high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, applying precision tools, and coordinating with manufacturing and engineering to resolve quality concerns. Strong reading of specs and AS9100 familiarity are required.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with inspection tools, measuring equipment, and basic quality documentation.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and nonconformance processes preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

KBR Science and Space division is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to support Axiom Space and their Safety and Mission Assurance department.

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for inspecting aerospace flight parts, assemblies, and related documentation to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. This role supports production and/or maintenance operations by identifying defects, documenting nonconformances, and ensuring proper disposition of quality issues.

Required Education/Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED minimum with 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience or a Bachelor of Science in engineering or related technical field


• Years of Experience: 5+ of related experience

Preferred Education/Experience

• 7+ years of aerospace inspection or quality-related experience preferred


• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, MRO, or aviation maintenance


• Familiarity with first article inspection, receiving inspection, or final inspection
