Job summary

Yulista Solutions LLC in Huntsville, AL seeks a senior professional to provide technical leadership across the program lifecycle in quality, mission assurance and manufacturing for MDA programs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across the program lifecycle in quality, mission assurance and manufacturing for assigned MDA programs.
• Implement quality and mission assurance requirements, addressing risks in design, development, manufacturing, fielding and operation of MDA systems.
• Operate under MAP (MDA Assurance Provisions) guidelines to measure, confirm, and validate mission success via metrics and reviews.
• Support hardware/software compliance reviews, failure investigations, audits, and assessments; identify root causes of failures.
• Provide technical and data management support for quality/mission assurance boards and reviews; participate in risk working groups.
• Prepare documents, briefs, information papers, and status reports; communicate actions and findings to stakeholders.

• Provide technical expertise across the program acquisition life cycle in quality, mission assurance and manufacturing to the government for assigned MDA programs
• Implement MDA quality and mission assurance requirements by providing subject matter expertise for the identification, evaluation and mitigation of risks associated with various aspects of the design, development, manufacturing, fielding and operation of MDA systems
• The QS governing document to be implemented is the MDA Assurance Provisions (MAP).
• This document is a standardized set of 14 QSMA provisions, requirements, and processes that apply to mission and safety critical items. The MAP gives MDA the methodology to measure, confirm, and validate mission success through collection and analysis of metrics, risk assessment, technical evaluations, independent assessment, reviews, conducting tests, and promoting continuous process improvement to reduce cost, improve productivity, and institute QSMA.
• Assist with review and assessment of hardware and software compliance with quality and related mission assurance requirements, including support of failure investigations, failure review boards, evaluations, audits, and assessments. Activities include determining root cause of failures of MDA hardware.
• Provide technical and data management expertise for quality and mission assurance boards, working groups, and reviews to include (but not limited to) technical and mission reviews, pedigree reviews, first article inspections, and risk working groups.
• Prepare draft documents, briefs, presentations, and actions items responses, which may include information papers.
• Provide weekly status reports on activities and issues of concern.
• Travel periodically, approximately twice per quarter
• Position is located at MDA facility in Huntsville, AL with expectation to work onsite at least 2 days per week, and may be additional days onsite as MDA transitions back to full time work in the buildings. Otherwise telework from home is authorized when not required to be onsite

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Professional engineering from a school of engineering Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET) accredited as professional engineering curriculum
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in a related field
• Must have experience supporting/running Failure Review Boards, executing FRACAS process and knowledge of Reliability programs supporting quality and mission assurance
• Experience in Quality and in implementing quality practices and quality oversight.
• Experience in assisting in the formulation of opinions, decisions for quality and mission assurance practices.
• Experience in assessing advanced systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.
• Experience in Quality and in implementing quality practices and quality oversight.
• Security Clearance requirements: Secret clearance
