Job summary

Meet Life Sciences in Minnesota is seeking a Quality Engineer II to support complex electronic and software-based medical devices across NPI and commercial operations. The role emphasizes change management, non-conformance management, investigations, and continuous improvement.

This position partners with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customers to maintain QMS compliance and drive improvements, including development of control plans and validation strategies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant Quality Engineering experience
• Experience with technical writing and engineering investigations
• Knowledge of quality systems, risk assessment, and non-conformance processes
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio

Responsibilities

• Review and approve quality documentation for ECOs, CAPAs, and planned deviations
• Perform DHR reviews and support customer complaints and SCAR investigations
• Review non-conforming material and rework documentation
• Develop Control Plans, PFMEAs, and validation plans/protocols
• Support manufacturing escalations and internal quality audits
• Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to maintain QMS compliance
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Serve as a Quality point of contact with customers when needed

We’re seeking a Quality Engineer II to support complex electronic and software-based medical devices across both New Product Introduction (NPI) and commercial operations.

This role will partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customers, with a focus on change management, non-conformance management, investigations, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve quality documentation for ECOs, CAPAs, and planned deviations
• Perform DHR reviews and support customer complaints and SCAR investigations
• Review non-conforming material and rework documentation
