Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Quality Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the ready-to-drink beverage sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality and food safety standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who fosters a culture of quality, engagement, and continuous improvement across all production processes. Hours are 5:45pm - 6:00am or 5:45am - 6:00pm on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and internal quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, raw materials, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
• Manage and respond to quality-related customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and feedback.
• Act as the back-up to the Quality Supervisor.

Training & Development

• Provide training and support to production and quality teams on quality standards, food safety protocols, and best practices.
• Assess and identify training needs to improve team performance and product quality.

Engagement & Communication

• Foster a culture of quality by engaging employees at all levels and encouraging their participation in quality initiatives.
• Facilitate regular meetings with team members to discuss quality performance, share updates, and gather feedback.
• Serve as the primary contact for quality-related inquiries within the plant and across the organization.

Performance Management

Ensures clear expectations, provides recognition and praise to encourage positive work behaviours and focus, and utilizes performance metrics to improve efficiency. Continually assesses team effectiveness needs and seeks resources to enhance performance.
