About the Role

Our client is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join the Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) team. The AHS platform manages autonomous mining trucks using GPS, wireless communication, obstacle detection, and fleet management technologies.

You will work closely with software developers, product managers, hardware engineers, and operations teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of autonomous mining software.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the AHS system architecture and create test strategies.
• Gather and review functional and non-functional requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks.
• Perform:
• Functional Testing
• Performance Testing
• Security Testing
• Failover/Recovery Testing
• Develop API (REST/gRPC) and UI automation tests.
• Support Shift-Left testing practices.
• Perform manual exploratory testing when required.
• Track QA metrics, defects, and test results.
• Support deployments and field testing.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and improve QA processes.
• Travel internationally up to 10% if needed.
