Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a QA automation engineer to develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts validating enterprise applications across user roles. You will design UI automation with Playwright and lead CI/CD integration within a DevSecOps framework.

You will collaborate remotely, mentor teammates, and contribute to Agile releases while ensuring AWS-based workloads and technologies (Vue.js, Python, Django, S3) meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Four years of QA or software testing experience for enterprise systems.
• At least two years of QA/testing support for AWS workloads.
• Bachelor’s degree or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated experience performing manual and automated testing, including defect documentation, issue reproduction, regression testing, and validation.
• Strong experience developing test automation using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript, plus API testing with Swagger and Postman.
• Experience designing, maintaining, and integrating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with AWS services such as Systems Manager and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency testing applications and workloads built with AWS services and technologies, including Vue.js, Python, Django, and Amazon S3.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while collaborating with, mentoring, and supporting team members to resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including planning, testing, and supporting iterative software releases.
• Ability to test workloads against AWS Well-Architected Framework principles and related quality standards.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship; due to government clearance requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD PUBLIC TRUST; candidates must obtain approved adjudication prior to onboarding; active PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

What You Will Do:

What You Will Need:

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or application development for enterprise systems.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience supporting or testing Python/Django-based web applications.

• Experience conducting penetration, performance, or load testing for applications hosted in AWS cloud environments.

• Experience configuring and validating application monitoring, alerting, and error tracking using Sentry or similar tools.

• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility testing standards, requirements, and validation practices.
