Job summary

CloudIngest is seeking an experienced QA/Test Automation Engineer for a 6-12 month contract (with potential extensions) in Dallas, TX. You will develop and automate UI and API tests, focusing on Playwright and Selenium, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with developers to ensure high test coverage, analyze results, and report defects using Jira. This role requires hands-on automation, framework design, and strong testing expertise.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software testing experience.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and executing UI/API tests.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated UI and API tests with Playwright and Selenium.
• Design and enhance scalable automation frameworks.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
• Collaborate with developers to review PRDs and ensure test coverage.
• Analyze test results and report defects with Jira.

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Test Development: Create, maintain, and execute automated UI and API test scripts using Playwright
• .Experience in Selenium and API test Automation
• .Framework Design: Build or enhance scalable, reusable automation frameworks
• .CI/CD Integration: Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git) for continuous testing
• .Collaboration & Quality: Partner with developers to analyze PRDs, identify gaps, and ensure high test coverage
