Qualifications

• Experience with receiving inspections and maintaining inspection logs.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and assess conformance to specifications.
• Strong attention to detail in identifying surface defects and non-conformances.

Responsibilities

• Performs Receiving Inspections as required, update logs, maintain records and print labels.
• Examines material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and incomplete welds; verifies dimensions.
• Rejects defective parts and marks defect type; updates logs and notifies management.
• May generate Quality Alerts for internal non-conformance identified; maintains rejection logs.
• Supports calibration system; performs calibrations as scheduled and records results.
• Interprets engineering drawings and collaborates with management to determine quality standards.
• Provides input to lessons learned to APQP Team.
• Selects products for tests at specified stages and tests for dimensions, performance and mechanical characteristics.
• Trains and assists production staff on quality requirements.
• Performs Quality Audits of Production Products/Process and reports results to management; follows up on open actions.
• Operates diagnostic equipment as needed and completes paperwork timely.
• Communicates with other departments and keeps work areas clean and organized.
• Adheres to company rules and policies and performs other duties as assigned.
• Key performance metrics: Receiving Inspection, Dock Audit/Product Audit, Daily Audits, PASUM Audits, Production Floor Support, Quality Records maintenance.
