Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; related vocational certificate preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English; able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Background in quality control or quality assurance.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Audit and visually inspect printed and inserted materials to meet quality specs.
• Review job tickets for accuracy of materials, taglines, and sequence numbers.
• Respond to quality lights, approve initial pieces before full production.
• Stop production for quality defects and document them.
• Tag non-conforming products and notify relevant personnel for segregation and review.
• Prepare and follow up on Corrective Action Reports (CARs) and assist audit readiness.
• Record hand-stuff and damage values on QA sheets accurately.
• Track and report diverted packaging on Reconciliation Reports.
• Report quality issues to Quality Assurance Manager or management.
• Perform other duties as directed by QA Manager.
