Job summary

US Farathane, a leading plastics manufacturer serving the automotive sector for 40+ years, seeks a Quality Auditor on 2nd shift to support the Quality System with in-process audits and receiving/dock inspections. You will verify parts against blueprints, perform gage R&R, maintain inspection charts, and escalate deviations as needed.

Proficiency in Excel and strong attention to detail are required. The role offers a climate-controlled environment and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; some related experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules, instructions and procedures.
• Must read/write English and perform basic math.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail.
• Knowledge of quality systems and inspection techniques desired.
• Experience with Excel and data recording for inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspection to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Conduct receiving and dock audits as needed.
• Gauge parts and use inspection equipment per blueprints.
• Escalate deviations to production and Quality supervisor when needed.
• Maintain charts and record inspection data; perform Gage R&R and capability studies.
• Support daily quality checks and housekeeping in work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and quality policy manuals.
