Job summary

Avid Bioservices in California is seeking an Associate Specialist, Quality Assurance to support electronic document management, training systems, and GMP compliance. You will issue and reconcile logs and notebooks, and train coworkers on quality processes.

This full‑time onsite role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime may be required. The position offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of CGMPs or equivalent regulations.
• Ability to interpret Quality standards for implementation.
• Skills to independently evaluate situations and propose potential solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform admin tasks for the electronic document management system.
• Manage electronic training system: assign curricula, generate reports, create/revise curricula.
• Issue and reconcile equipment logbooks and laboratory notebooks.
• File documents in QA archive and retrieve on request.
• Provide formal and informal training on quality systems, training, and GDPs.
• Support customers with document revisions and internal/external requests.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure efficient review activities.
• Participate in department and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Enforce GMP and GDP policies.
• Provide support during inspections and maintain readiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Quality management.
