Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. in Caledonia, MI is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to maintain inventory records, manage MTRs and ISO documentation, and ensure compliance with shipping and federal regulations.

You will represent the company to customers and leadership while identifying efficiency improvements. The role requires 0-2 years QA experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with warehouse operations and RF scanning equipment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years quality assurance experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
• Experience with pipe yards, Heat Numbers, MERI’s, ISO’s and MTR’s strongly preferred.
• Experience with material handling equipment (sit-down forklift, order picker, reach truck) is a plus.
• Warehouse Management System and RF Scanner experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Accurately updates information on computer to maintain inventory records.
• Manages Material Test Reports (MTRs) and ISO documentation for industrial products.
• Represent the FEI organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed.
• Develops and recommends improvements to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs.
• Examines invoices and shipping documents to ensure accordance with federal regulations.
• May recommend procedural changes to improve efficiency of operations.
• Ensure goods are verified against records of shipment.
• Accurately records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Responsible for inspection, identification, and delivery to stocking locations.
• Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures.
• Participates and presents in meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
