Job summary

Command Cyber Solutions in Rockville, MD is seeking a Mid QA Tester to support development, testing, and delivery of mission-critical applications for federal clients. You will execute manual and automated testing, validate functionality, track defects, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of manual testing experience, proficiency with web-based and cloud-hosted apps, and familiarity with Agile environments. Hybrid work two days on-site is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years of manual testing of web-based applications.
• Experience creating/executing test cases and reporting defects.
• Familiarity with regulatory/compliance standards in federal or similar settings.
• Experience with large-scale databases and cloud-based systems.
• Hands-on Git workflows and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts from user stories.
• Report and track defects and coordinate with developers for fixes.
• Verify new features meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with AI-powered applications and validating MLP outputs is a plus.
