SGS Technologie Pvt Ltd. in Florida (Tallahassee) seeks an experienced QA Analyst to drive manual and automated testing across REST APIs and microservices, validating against business requirements and contributing to test automation frameworks.

Work in an Agile environment using Azure DevOps/TFS to manage tests, defects, and project work items. Develop Selenium-based automated scripts, scale custom frameworks (POM), and support UAT and JAD sessions with stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with strong expertise in manual testing, automation testing, Agile software development, API testing, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality, validating system functionality against business requirements, developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, and collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

The candidate must have extensive experience with Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server (TFS), Selenium or similar automation tools, REST API and microservices testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Joint Application Development (JAD) techniques. Excellent communication, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or similar automation testing tools.
• Build, maintain, and scale custom automation testing frameworks from scratch, including frameworks based on the Page Object Model (POM).
• Update existing automation scripts to accommodate user interface changes, enhancements, and new feature deployments.
• Perform REST API and microservices testing, including endpoint validation, request and response verification, contract validation, and payload testing using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools.
• Identify, document, track, and report software defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Work within Agile software development environments, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Utilize Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS) to manage test cases, defects, test execution, and project work items.
• Plan, coordinate, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business users and stakeholders.
• Conduct meetings, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions with individuals and groups to understand business processes and system requirements.
• Apply Joint Application Development (JAD) techniques to facilitate stakeholder collaboration and requirements elicitation.
• Translate functional specifications and business requirements into detailed technical specifications for development teams.
• Convert information gathered from meetings and written documentation into process models, workflow diagrams, and process flow documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and other team members to understand requirements, identify data needs, and resolve functional and technical issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test plans, test cases, test results, defect reports, and other project deliverables.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify recurring defects and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure testing activities align with project plans, quality standards, business requirements, and established procedures.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, findings, and recommendations to technical teams, management, and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Business Analysis.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Agile software development methodologies.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in manual testing, including test scenario development, test case execution, and validation against business requirements.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in automation testing, including designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience conducting meetings and discussions with individuals and groups to analyze business processes.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience applying Joint Application Development (JAD) techniques.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience designing, developing, maintaining, and scaling custom automated testing frameworks, including Page Object Model (POM) or similar frameworks.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with Selenium or comparable automation testing tools.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience updating and maintaining automation scripts to support UI changes, enhancements, and new feature releases.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in REST API and microservices testing, including endpoint validation, contract checks, and payload verification using Insomnia or similar API tools.
• Demonstrated proficiency in REST API testing using Postman, Insomnia, or comparable API testing tools.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience translating functional specifications into technical specifications that developers can use to implement solutions.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience translating meeting discussions and written materials into process models and process flow diagrams.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience collaborating with stakeholders and project teams to gather requirements, understand data needs, and resolve issues.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
