We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to ensure our software products continue to meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and user experience. The ideal candidate will analyze requirements, develop and maintain test plans, support end-to-end regression, functional, and user acceptance testing (UAT), and become an advocate for our user community. This position represents an essential member of our QA and software delivery teams and requires a perceptive and meticulous individual with the ability to collaborate with product teams, developers, and major stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop test strategies for complex business, functional, and technical requirements, and translate those strategies into usable test plans for both internal testers and our client user base.
  • Create and execute detailed test cases, scenarios, and scripts across varied testing phases, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT.
  • Identify, analyze, and document software bugs and defects, and work with the development team to triage issues and track resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and business analysts to provide feedback, track defect resolution, and ensure quality is embedded throughout the development cycle.
  • Participate in Agile events as a key member of the software delivery team.
  • Embrace continuous improvement of QA processes, with an eye towards improving overall quality of delivered software.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Emprise’s primary software product.
  • Support test automation efforts including developing and maintaining smoke and regression test scripts.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management Systems, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Seven years of QA experience, with an emphasis on planning, developing, and executing functional, regression, and UAT test plans.
  • Exceptional technical writing with meticulous attention to detail is a must; you will be responsible for writing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and documenting defects.
  • Well versed in Scrum Agile framework, release cadences, and the overall challenges of endtoend software delivery.
  • Strong familiarity with Jira, and experience with test management and defect tracking tools in general.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into effective test cases for a broad audience.
  • Strong ability to multitask, deliver on sprint goals, and manage changing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance.

  • Experience working in the DoD or Federal landscape.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 serviceoriented framework.
