Job summary

Hendrickson is seeking an Assembly Technician for its McKinney, TX facility. You will use pneumatic and hand tools to assemble products per company and customer specifications, while coordinating the full assembly process and ensuring quality at each step.

The role requires reading production schedules, following safety practices, and reporting daily production data. Prior production assembly experience is preferred and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Interpret production schedules and build specifications.
• Ability to work overtime as production demands require.
• Must be able to utilize torque wrenches according to specs.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout employment.
• Must follow all safety practices and policies.

Responsibilities

• Use required pneumatic/hand tools to assemble product per Company and customer specifications.
• Organize all aspects of the assembly process.
• Inspect product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Report daily activities and production data as directed.
• Conduct quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Operate machines with safe working habits.
• Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities.
• Contribute to safety culture and training, reporting safety concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Coordinator.
