Job summary

Pearson is hiring a Lead Specialist, Technical Architect (Quality) for ExamDeveloper. You will provide domain-level quality leadership, shaping test strategy, automation architecture, and release confidence across multiple Agile teams.

You will mentor senior QA engineers, review critical QA work, and spend hands-on time in testing or automation investigation where your expertise has the greatest impact. Remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in quality engineering, software testing, or test automation.
• 3+ years as a domain-level quality expert across distributed platforms.
• Proven influence on QA practices, frameworks, or standards.
• Deep experience with test automation strategy and tooling.
• Experience with large product environments and multiple Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for ExamDeveloper quality system and metrics.
• Partner with Product Architect and Engineering to define long-term automation strategy.
• Evaluate tools, data, and practices to automate testing and improve efficiency.
• Establish quality metrics informing decisions on release readiness and risk.
