Join our team to help build a better, more sustainable world for future generations!**What You Will Do:*** Adhere to our core values of integrity, excellence, teamwork, commitment and safety.* Monitor department to ensure employees are working safely at all times and using necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).* Manage the team's daily priorities and coordinate and sequence work assignments within the department to ensure smooth flow and optimum production efficiency.* Work closely with operations personnel and use quality tools to plan, schedule, coordinate, and oversee daily inspection activities.* Perform daily inspection activities in the absence of other inspectors.* Understand customer specifications, engineering drawings, and company quality requirements.* Review and approve engineering changes, drawings, and specifications as assigned.* Review and approve operating procedures within assigned value stream.* Promote standard work and process discipline by coaching employees on expectations, identifying gaps in execution, and reinforcing consistent practices across the department.* Assist in the training of employees on processes and procedures by identifying training needs on the shop floor and coaching team members through quality and process expectations.* Serve as a key point of contact between production employees, quality, manufacturing engineering, and leadership to communicate concerns, escalate issues, and support timely resolution.* Partner with employees to address quality-related issues, including nonconformances, recurring trends, containment needs, root cause activity, and corrective action follow-through to help prevent repeat defects and improve overall quality performance.* Lead and support root cause and corrective action activities by gathering information from the shop floor, validating process concerns, and helping ensure actions are sustained.* Take ownership of continuous improvement activities within the department, including identifying opportunities, coordinating cleanup and organization efforts, and driving follow-through to support safety, quality, and operational efficiency.* Prepare various records, reports, procedures, and certificates as assigned.* Provide feedback to leadership on employee performance, training opportunities, process gaps, and improvement needs observed during daily operations.**What You Will Have:*** Previous leadership experience* Adaptability and the ability to learn new processes quickly* Demonstrated ability to train others and solve problems* Strong leadership and communication skills* Ability to positively influence and motivate a team through a strong commitment to Our Values in Action* Must have at least six months of accumulated service time in current position to be eligible to bid on this job unless HR approval has been granted* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint* Advanced working knowledge of electrical assembly drawings, wiring schematics, and inspection techniques; proficiency in interpreting engineering specifications and GD&T requirements is required.**What will Put You Ahead:*** Experience with switchgear or electrical equipment assembly.* Knowledge of UL, IPC standards* Certified IPC Specialist (CIS)**Shift:*** Monday - Thursday (5:00 AM - 3:30 PM) with opportunity to work overtime**Additional Details:*** Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.* Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.* Resumes are highly encouraged for all applicants.######**Summary Pay Range:**$26.00 - $33.80Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
