Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks a Quality and Accreditation professional to guide compliance across care locations outside the main campus.

You will oversee quality programs, coordinate with hospital leadership, lead data analysis and reporting, and help shape organization-wide quality initiatives for patient safety and accreditation. This on-site role requires collaboration with physicians and nurses and contributes to continuous improvement and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• BSN or health care field required.
• 3+ years in Quality Improvement or Joint Commission coordination in hospital/ambulatory settings.
• 3+ years of data analysis and report writing.
• MS degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Team leadership training preferred.
• Health Care Quality certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

Provides oversight for Quality and Accreditation for assigned Northside care locations, external to the Northside Atlanta campus. Assists the Director and Vice President of Quality with organization wide projects and goals.

REQUIRED

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or health care related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years combined experience in health care field in: Quality Improvement or Joint commission coordination, in hospital or ambulatory settings.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in data analysis and report writing.

PREFERRED

• Master of Science degree
• Supervisory experience
• Training as team leader and facilitator
• Certification in Health Care Quality.
• Provides clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, organizational ability, objective judgement, self-direction and motivation.
• Ability to function effectively with a wide variety of disciplines, including physicians and nurses.
• Make presentations on topics related to quality and regulatory issues.
• Able to participate as part of a team to accomplish an assigned project.
