Eaton is seeking a Quality Analyst-Castings for a full-time, on-site role in Euclid, OH. You will inspect purchased castings and support the design, manufacture, assembly, and testing of products, while driving DPPM, scrap, and FPY improvements to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include record-keeping, supplier collaboration for corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with customer and government quality procedures. Residency within 50 miles of Euclid is required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED plus 5 years castings experience and/or a Bachelor's + 1 year castings experience.
• AS9100 knowledge and GD&T familiarity preferred.

Eaton's AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Quality Analyst-Castings. This is a full time, on-site position in Euclid, OH.

The Euclid facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace main engine fuel pumps and components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

The Casting Quality Analyst is responsible for inspection of purchased castings. They are also the supplier support to the team responsible for the design, manufacture, assembly and testing of internally manufactured products and purchased parts. In addition, they support issues such as MRB review, Cost Out, Reduction in DPPM, and Improvement Initiatives.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $59000 - $86000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

• Perform inspection of purchased castings at Eaton receiving inspection or supplier source inspection.
• Maintain accurate records to comply with company and customer record retention requirements
• Drive reductions in Defective Parts Per Million (DPPM), Scrap and improvement in First Pass Yield (FPY) of purchased products.
• Support response to customer requested corrective action and support of customers regarding purchased materials.
• Support operations through timely disposition of supplier related nonconforming materials found during manufacturing and requiring corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
• Support operations by interfacing with suppliers to drive corrective action through DMRs to get full root cause analysis, determination of permanent corrective actions, and implementation and follow-up of corrective actions.
• Work with customer, government, and other regulatory representatives to interpret or reach agreement on Quality procedures, and acceptability of products and assure compliance with the specified customer and government.

Qualifications:

Required Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution + minimum of 5 years castings experience and/or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution + minimum of 1 year castings experience.
